Family and Home in Bel Marin Keys, California

Betty and I have been friends since our children were very young. We
were married in 1994 after an extended relationship. Betty's
daughter, Angela, is the youngest of the three children. Angela was
born in 1979. My daughter, Erin Marie, was born in 1978 and my son
Scott was born in 1975. Scott completed his Mechanical Engineering
degree at California Polytechnic Institute, San Luis Obispo. Erin's
major is a little unclear as a result of her one year of study in
Australia and UC Davis' policies on transferring units. Angela is
majoring in Communications with a minor in Animal Science. Both girls
are or will be gainfully employed by the end of 2002, both in excellent
jobs. Betty & I are very proud parents.
Our home is located in Bel Marin Keys, California. This is a
waterfront community with two locks that help maintain our water quality.
We moved here in 1993 when I retired from PG&E. We enjoy the
water and boating. We brought the "Erin Marie," our 28
foot Newport sailboat that we kept at Berkeley Marina, with us when we
moved here from Oakland. However, it has not been used for a variety
of reason in the last several years and needs a lot of work.
We purchased a jet drive SeaRayder for water skiing and a little paddle
boat for fun shortly after we moved into our home. In July of '99 we
purchased a larger boat for cruising and vacations.
"Ladies Choice," a forty-three foot aft-cabin Bayliner, is ideal
for two couples taking a long weekend or even a couple of weeks vacation.
The full name would have been, "Ladies Choice, I'd Rather be
Sailing," but that name was too long for a documented boat.
Betty and I enjoy cruising. She prefers vessels over 500 feet with
waiters and other amenities. I prefer boats in the 35 to 50 foot
range that I skipper. We also play golf and enjoy snow skiing.
An aerial view of Bel Marin Keys is shown above, below are pictures of
Betty and I, our kids, home and toys. Enjoy!
